Thanks for the pull request. As we are using "DATETIME" values at about 20 other places in the database scheme, i am wondering if a specific usrloc module parameter is really the best solution for this problem. Maybe a core parameter would be benefitial, or just having the server running on UTC timezone? Interested about the comments from other developers.

We are using the DATETIME in MySQL which does not keep track of timezones, TIMESTAMP does. Not sure why it was choosen this way, probably in the past it was the easiest/fastest way of doing it.
