There is an old, but likely still pretty useful devel guide that presents internal api:

You can start looking at another (small) module, like speedial, alias_db to understand better how a module should be built. Then ask specific questions on sr-dev at lists.kamailio.org when you need further guidance.

This tracker is not inteded for active discussions related to new features. I am closing this one.
