Hi guys,
It would also be compatible with Java 7. The primary goal is to get it updated to a more recent java version, than GNU Java.
But ill soldier on then, and work on the app_java module.

I think it will work with j7 too but let's wait for Jon's opinion, because I haven't checked for j8 compability.

Hello,
would the module then work with both Java7 and Java8? I think on some popular stable versions of Linux distros, Java7 is still the only one provided as package.
Cheers,
Daniel

Hello,
You can update this module, you can use app_java if you wish.

Hello List,
Im planing to update the app_java module to be usable with Oracle Java 8.
Should I do this in a new module, etc. app_java8, or update the existing one? And is the community interested in such a module?
Kind Regards
