That's right, i've only integrated it for shm, got to work on
integrating it for pkg.

No, it's independent of q_malloc (despite the typo for shm_available
#define that i've got to fix).

Great, then i'll fix the previously mentioned typo and merge it. It is
indeed disabled by default.
