Maybe there can be issues with libcurl4-openssl-dev as it is used also 
for other parts (TLS, libpq?, ...) and openssl is know to cause problems 
when it is initialized multiple times.

IIRC in ser the Identidy module uses static linking against openssl to 
avoid this issue.
