[Serdev] Status of SER 2.0 (Ottendorf) documentation

Interesting comment. Jan's summary of people's preferences pointed 
towards 2.0 as the one with the most supporters. His conclusion was not 
disputed and thus 2.0 was the consensus reached.

With none of us being sales people, I would rather say that the split 
was between the purists (with focus on some objective measure of 
completeness or history) and pragmatists (with focus on communicating to 
people who are not SER-insiders).

On a deeper level, I think the split is between those focused on 
using/developing SER as a standalone piece of open-source software in 
itself and these concerned about making SER as widely used and accepted 
as possible in a world of choices.

I believe both perspectives have valid arguments and it's more a matter 
of what you focus on, than any true split (as is often seen between 
developers and sales people).
