I can confirm this same behavior.   The problem is that when you cancel 
the call, the fr_inv_timer keeps running.  When it expires it hits the 
failure_route and SER crashes.  We reported this issue last week (back 
then it would not crash but rather it generated a second call once it 
hit the failure route)
