The postgres module is a very important piece of software for us, and
works fine in a production enviroment since a few months. 

Just one short comment:

There are architecture dependencies in the current postgres module.
Those dependencies lead to failed builds on e.g. Debian/GNU ppc. I'd
like to see those dependencies removed (or at least broadened to other
architectures). If SER ever intends to go into Debian as official
package, it will need to compile on at least a few of the supported
platforms.

The dependencies are in modules/postgres/aug_sysdep.h
