[Kamailio-Devel] Presence-Module / Publish: Question regarding used URI

Hi everybody,

is there any particular reason, why the method "handle_publish" from the
presence module explicitly uses the unmodified Request-URI
(msg->first_line.u.request.uri)?
I'd like to change this to support the modified URI (msg->new_uri); this
would allow you to unify the published information. "handle_subscribe"
from presence module uses the modified URI, if present...

An example:
Our proxy allows multiple registration schemes: either use a unique
numeric ID or your phonenumber in E164 as username.
It would be a shame, if a user would not be able to see the users online
status, since he subscribes for his unique numeric ID and the user has
publish it's data using his E164-number...
