Initial Comment:
The sysloglog name is only set when daemonize is called. With the -D options this doesn't happen. Attached patch fixes this issue.

Hi Alex,

thank you for the patch. I did a few adaptions, e.g. use arg[0] when no
log_name is given (like the old code), and also changed the daemonize
interface a little bit. Applied to trunk, I'll also backport to 1.4 after
some time.
