Hi Bogdan,

what depencencies do you mean? There are not that much new depencies 
introduced during the conversion to docbook-xml, in fact the old 
docbook-dsssl (including openjade, jadetex..) stuff is not needed anymore.

This packages should be sufficient to generate the docs:
docbook
docbook-xml
docbook-xsl
xsltproc
