i think ietf sip working group is very serious about its outbound i-d.
it is working group i-d and already at version 12.  in general, outbound
is for openser user more or less useless (because we have already have
nat pinging for udp).  the only valuable piece is this tcp keepalive
protocol, what, by the way, has already been implemented by some sip UAs
(e.g. nokia).

that should be fine, since it is the UA that decides if it sends
double-CRLFs or not.  whenever UA sends them, openser should respond.
