That can be done, but again why do it if debian packages for etch can be 
built? I do not have debian etch, and thus I'm not motivated to install 
it just to provide debian packaging for mediaproxy, but if someone want 
to do it, I can provide guidance and hints to help get mediaproxy 
packaged for debian etch.
