Hi Anca,

as far as i remember is 1.3 our stable branch, i.e. only bug fixes are 
allowed. :-)

Its already hard enough for us to stabilize this code for the next release, so 
i don't think we should start to implement new features in this branches. 

Could you please revert this parts of your commit?
