jan,

i took read SER Configuration Framework doc, and looks like the
framework can achieve what i want, but i feel that the solution is too
low level (complicated) for my purpose.  

all i want to do in the proposed script_init route block is to avp db
load stuff and then based on that assign values to shared memory or
script variables.
