Hello all,

I want to thank to all those helped in the last days with renaming and
bug fixes. It was an amazing effort from everybody. Initially planned
for a more gradual renaming, it is almost finished. Apart of the fixes
ported from the developers of the newly opensips (so they have a share
of credits) many other bugs from our tracker and not only were fixed.
The code should be the most stable version to the knowledge of
developers, based on feedback and reported bugs so far.

We will still have some opened on the tracker (with note that some are
still to be closed before release), but either they are at the limit of
enhancement than misfunctionality or the reporter didn't follow with
more details. I am sure that new bugs will show up for the code we have
now, some in the next days, others, perhaps, in 3 years or so, but we
are here to kick them as they occur -- there is no code left alone.

From my knowledge, couple of fixes done today were not committed yet,
to allow a bit more time for testing, they will get in tomorrow morning.
After that the focus will be in creating migration documents. I am
kindly asking all of you to share the experience you get in the
following days while updating, so we make it easier for next comers.
This is going to be created in a wiki page, so everybody can just
contribute.

The release, Kamailio 1.4.0, is scheduled for later tomorrow, Central
European Time. I am ending giving thanks also to those helping to
troubleshoot, using or supporting the project with documentation,
feedback or advertising this application to third parties. It really
matters to have such a strong community!

Thanks again,
Daniel
