Initial Comment:
I noticed that attempts to use $T_reply_code from my config were unfruitful.

Looking into it, I found that when pv_lookup_spec_name finds a PV on the extra list, it does not bother to copy type, getf, and setf from the export to the pv_spec_t struct passed to the function, resulting in PVs that essentially don't exist.

Attached is a patch that seems to fix this.
