ma be not directly to presence related, but i noticed from debug logs
that presence is running stuff in the background all the time, like
checking for expired publishing/subscription. this is something that
normal modules (perhaps apart from usrloc) don't do:
May 3 23:27:38 localhost /usr/sbin/openser[10750]: PUA: hashT_clean ..
May 3 23:27:43 localhost /usr/sbin/openser[10750]: PUA: db_update...
May 3 23:27:43 localhost /usr/sbin/openser[10750]: PUA: db_update: INSERTDB_FLAG
May 3 23:27:43 localhost /usr/sbin/openser[10750]: PUA: db_update: updated records in database tables
May 3 23:27:43 localhost /usr/sbin/openser[10750]: PRESENCE: msg_watchers_clean:cleaning pending subscriptions
May 3 23:27:43 localhost /usr/sbin/openser[10750]: PRESENCE: msg_active_watchers_clean:cleaning expired watcher information
May 3 23:27:43 localhost /usr/sbin/openser[10750]: PRESENCE:msg_presentity_clean:cleaning expired presentity information
perhaps that has something to do with processes not getting killed.
