devel docs are not that good, maybe we should start putting some, maybe 
right now with this question. There is a page to write OpenSER module, 
but for 1.1, should help a bit (I will try to update):

To allow pseudo-variables in function parameters, yes, you have to write 
fixup functions. De pending on the form of the parameter, either single 
PV or combined with some string, you can have a look at xlog module, uac 
module, msilo module ...
