Hi all,
I'm trying to get LCR working and am coming up against a problem with the
blacklist. When the first gateway to be tried is unresponsive it invokes the
failure route as you'd expect and blacklists the IP address.
All OK until the next call comes in at which point openser automatically
rejects the call with error "Filtered destination (473/TM)" and doesn't call
the failure route hence breaking the desired failover behaviour of LCR.
I've dug around a bit and noted that I can disable the DNS blacklist which
would make LCR work again but ideally I want it to skip over gateway entries
which are blacklisted.
>From looking at the code it seems too hard to change the DNS blacklisting
behaviour to invoke the failure route when the destination IP is blacklisted
so I'm tempted to change the LCR code in load_gws to never come back with
gateways that are blacklisted at the current point in time. Does anyone have
any better suggestions?
Thanks,
