Hello Phil,
this depends on the type and size of the patch.. :-) Simple fixes are normally
quickly integrated. More extensive changes needs more time (and discussion).
If the patch is already assigned to a developer, you should ask him about the
schedule, if nobody steps up after some time, you should ask on this list.
For big patches like new modules it makes sense to start a discussion right
after the patch submission to the tracker.
Sometimes patches are forgotten, e.g.g if the general workload is too high or
critical bugs appears.
