Didn't fully get your post when I replied.  Sorry, it's been a long day
:)

When compiling OpenSER on the developement machines. I don't generally change the
compile settings.  Core dumps are produced that can be diagnosed.  I did have a recent
problem with gdb that required installing the latest version gdb-6.6 from the sources.

Perhaps you should try to recompile OpenSER with the default settings and see if that works for
you.

If your problem isn't compile options related, you can set debug=9 in the
openser.cfg file.  This should produce enough debugging output to help isolate the general
location of the problem.
