[Devel] connection manager for postgres

Hello,

A while ago I've seen an effort by Klaus Darilion and Bogdan-Andrei Iancu
to port from ser a new postgres module with connection manager support.

Did it result in any outcome?
Also I see that openser 1.1.0 has a new unixodbc module. Does it have a connection manager?
What I'm looking for is to use postgres with openser without creating too many idle
connections to postgres.
