So, how are end users supposed to know a "new minor feature" exists if
the person who created it doesn't document it?  Even if they announce it
in a mailing list, this isn't sufficient to provide the information to
new users or users who can't get around to reading all of the posts to
all of the mailing lists.

I'm new to both SER as well as these mailing lists, so the answer to my
question may be answered somewhere else.
