Initial Comment:
FreeBSD systems installs most ports programs, for example:

/usr/ports/databases/unixODBC under /usr/local

The following update to the DEFS line in
modules/unixodbc/Makefile is needed to locate the
appropriate include files:

# sql.h locations (freebsd,openbsd  solaris)
DEFS +=-I/usr/local/include
