                What is the difference between these two defines F_MALLOC and SF_MALLOC. Currently we are compiling with F_MALLOC option.

                When we can enable SF_MALLOC define, Will it improve the performance?

Intel(R) Xeon(R) Quad Core 2.40GHz with 24 G RAM and around 621G Hard Disk—Os versi0n: rhel5
