Hello Daniel,

I just found that getSimpleName was defined in java 5, so you should get a Java-5 compliant JVM.
there are versions for Linux, Windows and Solaris on http://java.sun.com/

in freebsd, when you execute "portupgrade -N java" it gives you an address where you accept sun's SLA and then download and install the JVM.
