Hi Aadil,
As much as possible we should isolate the
feature we are having trouble with, when we post to the open source community. For
example, in this case we didn’t need to add the complication of Asterisk.
We could just say that we are using
OpenSER as our proxy. How can we restrict un-registered, (but otherwise
configured & legimitate) users from making out going calls?
Anyways… only for the next time.. my
2 cents.
Amit.

Subject: Unregistered users able
to make calls
Hi,
I have a setup where in Openser is acting as the registrar
and Asterisk handles the media. i.e. the INVITEs are relayed to the Asterisk
server by Openser.
When I try to make a call from an unregistered user the call
goes thru. The user is present in the subscriber table but is not registered
with Openser at that instant.
Is this an expected behavior? If not what needs to be done
so that an unregistered user is prohibited from making any calls.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance.
Regards,
Aadil
