Hi Daniel,

When give make apache-conf following is generated  after adding DirectoryIndex index.php index.html It started working.

Alias /siremis "/opt/siremis-4.0.0/siremis"

        <Directory "/opt/siremis-4.0.0/siremis">

                Options Indexes FollowSymLinks MultiViews

                AllowOverride All

                Order deny,allow

                Allow from all

                <FilesMatch "\.xml$">

                        Order deny,allow

                        Allow from all

                </FilesMatch>

                <FilesMatch "\.inc$">

                        Order deny,allow

                       Allow from all

                </FilesMatch>

        </Directory>

have you checked the options to create the database? Do you see any messages in the http server logs?
