you can check if the subscribe request is for

      Event: message-summary

and then forward to freeswitch. Like:

if(is_method("SUBSCRIBE") && $hdr(Event) =~ "message-summary") {
   $rd = "FREESWITCH_IP";
   t_relay();
   exit;
}
