Well, one easy way is to look at the source for uac_req_send(). But of course, there are other places where Kamailio endogenously originates SIP requests, e.g. dispatcher OPTIONS pings, dialog module's dlg_bridge...

It says in the documentation that uac_req_send is for sending a message from the configuration file. I wanted to send it from within the source code. Is there a programming function or API I can use?
