Thank you but that actually didn’t help.
What I found is that kamailio.pid did exist in /var/run/Kamailio/. So, I copied it to /var/run and kamctl started automatically.
Now I can register client with the server but only using IP not domain.
Domain resolves to IP correctly.
/etc/kamailio/kamctlrc is set
SIP_DOMAIN=voip.mydomain.com
What can prevent client from using domain?

Hello friends!
Having trouble to start newly installed Kamailio
This is what I got:
root@debian:/home/user# /etc/init.d/kamailio status
Status of kamailio: kamailio is running.
root@debian:/home/user# kamctl start
INFO: Starting Kamailio :
ERROR: PID file /var/run/kamailio.pid does not exist -- Kamailio start failed
root@debian:/home/user#
Any ideas will appreciated
