I figure it out myself. The error is caused by changing ser password in the mysql.

I used mysqladmin to change the password from heslo to my own password and that resulted the failure of starting ser.

what is the correct way to change the user ser password in mysql?

Subject: [Serusers] Error on start ser.

After starting ser, I run ser status and got following message:
'ser dead but subsys locked'

How can I fix this?

I remember in the e-mail archive somewhere metioned that you can clean some files to correct this.  I can not find it now.
