Can you compile with memory debug turned on and test? Watch the syslog for critical errors. It can turn to be a buffer overflow somewhere.

ok, but is the ack you sent causing the trouble? It does not look
as an ack for 200ok, because it does not have a Route header.
Non-200ok ACK do not get accounted.
