Sorry, it was my fault, looks like I've mixed stable and dev libs together, after removing libs and make install - I don't see any undefined symbol's.

However while calling load_textops_api() I have no linking errors but have: app_python.so: undefined symbol: fm_malloc

That is because the textops module doesn't export an api for other modules.
Take a look at sl: bind_sl().  Here the sl module is exporting an api
to be used by other modules.
Then the sca module is binding to that api and to use it: sca_bind_sl().

Something similar must be implemented by textops and app_python.
