<p>From config processing point of view, there is only one branch
set for going out to the target domain.</p>

<p>If the dns query returns more than one address, that's not due to
config operations adding the branches, thus branch route is not
executed. Logically, it is a single target, it is supposed to be
the "same" system from kamailio routing point of view.</p>

<p>Obviously, it is open source and one can code new feature and add
an option to execute config routing blocks on various cases,
including on dns-based re-routing. But as it was designed in the
past, branch_route is executed only on branches resulted from
config processing, not from dns query.</p>

<p>As you could notice, in the branch route the r-uri has the domain
in its value, the dns is done later, when about to send to the
network.</p>
<p><br>
</p>
<p>But then, there is onsend_route executed after dns is done, but
there is no option to change the message anymore.</p>
