    <p>Hello,</p>
    <p>if you set debug=3, do you see any other log message that can
      give hints about the error?</p>
    <p>I do not recall any change in using mysql conf groups, but there
      were some changes in supporting usernames with domains and few
      other updates that could have affected indirectly this part.</p>
