    <p>Hello,</p>
    <p>I haven't looked at specs: is there a requirement that the branch
      for ACK of negative replies to be same as for INVITE for a
      stateless proxy?</p>
    <p>A stateless proxy forgets everything about the INVITE as soon as
      it sends it out and start processing the next request.</p>
    <p>Eventually we can look at the code and see if we can use the same
      algorithm to generate the branch value.</p>
