<p>It should be optional. Did you compile on an exiting clone where you did a git pull/fetch? If yes, the makefile config files where generated before, when you compiled first time. Do a <code>make pure</code>, <code>make include_modules=... cfg</code>, <code>make all</code>, ...</p>
