<p><code>false</code> is an alias to <code>0</code>, but the return code of functions is different.</p>
<p>Use <code>if(!function())</code> to test for its <code>false</code> meaning or <code>if(function())</code> for its <code>true</code> meaning. See core cookbook in the wiki for more details about the return code interpretation.</p>
