<p>So the module compiles in centos 7 but not in centos 6, due to incompatible libevent library, right?</p>
<p>If yes, then we can close this issue. If someone makes a PR to add support for it, then it can be reconsidered, but from my point of view, this is low priority to be considered as effort from devel team.</p>
